The Road We Have Traveled...
The road we have traveled hasn't been much long,
Yet each step we’ve taken has made our hearts strong.
Though tomorrow could bring some stormy seas
But, if we’re together, we will traverse with ease.
No powerful wave or hardship of any kind
Could ever encumber the love that we find
When we are united; tethered at the heart,
Since our lives are not meant to be ever apart.
Our souls need each other, like flowers need sun
And I shall remain faithful until life is done
Through good times and bad, we’ll depend on our love
A gift we’ve been handed by the Lord above
The flame deep within us shall keep us forever warm
Serving as our beacon throughout every storm
So, we are destined to find our way through
As only two people in such love could do.
